This kayak is made with an outside drop stitch keel on the bow and a detachable large size skeg in the stern: these combined features allow for reduced yaw (sideways movement of the craft when paddling) and create unparalleled bite in the water. When paddling alternatively left and right, the drop stitch bow keel acts as a counter block against the naturally resulting yaw, while the skeg provides for straight tracking, resulting in very efficient and low effort straight forward paddling and faster momentum. Designed and constructed to be used on white water, rivers, lakes and at the sea shore. FEATURES: Side chambers and bottom made of 1000 denier super tough supported fabric for superior strength. Allows high pressure inflation. Very durable, firm, and abrasion resistant. Adjustable zipper seats with integrated closed cell foam: excellent back support and amazingly comfortable. Deluxe H3 high pressure valves: removable, replacable, reliable and airtight. Detachable large skeg: keeps kayak in a straight track while paddling.
